INSPIRED TUESDAY –
Your weekly pause for reflection, to inspire and be inspired.
These next two weeks I’ve committed myself to bring awareness to my own inner leadership, and I’ve been reflecting on what that means to me.
At its core, it’s about showing up to myself – being someone I can rely on. It’s honoring the agreements I’ve made with myself, not from a place of rigidity or perfectionism, but with presence and care. And in that, it’s also about being open: to changes, to new information, to the natural course-corrections that life invites.
To me, Inner Leadership is about being guided from within rather than driven from outside. It’s the ability to pause and listen – not just to my thoughts or emotions, but rather to that quieter, wiser place underneath. It’s leading myself with clarity, courage, and compassion, especially when things are uncertain.
It is not grand or dramatic.
It’s in the quiet moments.
The small choices.
Setting a boundary.
Saying yes or no with honesty.
Taking rest when everything in the world tells you to keep going.
Choosing to realign instead of powering through.
It’s not about being in control. It’s about being in relationship – with myself, my values, and the moment as it unfolds.
This isn’t always easy, but it feels deeply true. Inner Leadership invites me back to integrity, again and again – not as a standard to live up to, but as a home to return to.
